This is another example of giving credit to the wrong person. It has always been portrayed as a battle between Westinghouse and Edison with Edison being the aggressor. Edison has always received credit for things he did NOT do. That is because he was the better self-promoter. The real struggle was between Nicola Tesla and Tomas Edison. Tesla was correct and Edison was totally wrong. Tesla was far ahead of anyone on earth (including Westinghouse and Edison) at the time. Although I think someone would have eventually sorted it out, the world would not be where it is today in electrical technology without Tesla. By the way ac was Tesla's idea NOT Westinghouse. Also the light bulb that illuminated the 1893 worlds fair was invented by Tesla NOT Edison or Westinghouse but that little tid bit is (for some reason) always overlooked by some "historians".
Modern Marvels is one of my favorite programs!

I like that home that produces more power than it uses on a clear day. ..a clear day, what's that?
Very good job fellows!! Congratulations. Fascinating..💯!!!
Fascinating..💯
There was NO fallout from TMI. There were small releases of 2 short half-life gasses, one of which was xenon, I believe, which half-life measured in hours, and the other measured in days or weeks.
RIP San Onofre
H.H.Holmes enjoyed the lights also.
"if you build it they will come", where did we hear that before?
