Constitutional Crisis: How the Supreme Court Enables the Coercive State and Erodes the Fourth Amendment

Discover the dual strategy dismantling federal protections—shrinking regulatory bodies while "super-sizing" enforcement agencies—and learn what threatens the core separation of powers doctrine today.

Short Summary

  • The Administrative State is splitting: Regulatory capacity is sabotaged while the coercive/enforcement capacity is massively expanded by the current administration.
  • The Supreme Court severely challenged the Fourth Amendment by allowing the lifting of an injunction against criteria resulting in routine racial profiling by ICE, treating the interest in avoiding interrogation as minimal.
  • Constitutional scholar Peter Shane explains how the Roberts Court premises—including viewing the President as a "one-person branch"—threaten the foundational balance established by the Founders.

This discussion with Constitutional Scholar Professor Peter Shane diagnoses critical shifts in American governance. We analyze the immediate impacts of recent Supreme Court emergency orders on individual rights, specifically regarding law enforcement stops, and examine the structural damage being done to the checks and balances intended to guarantee liberty. Understanding these precedents is vital for assessing the future allocation of power within the government.

Description

The Supreme Court has allowed Trump to dismantle the Administrative State by shrinking regulatory bodies that protect Americans down to nothing, while "super sizing" the Coercive State, spending billions of dollars on Federal law enforcement agencies and to federalize the national guard in pursuant of its immigration policies and to crush dissent. But what can "We the People" do about it? Well, Professor and Constitutional Scholar Peter Shane may have the answers as he joins Popok and briefs the Legal AF audience. 6 Supreme Court justices are currupt as hell. They need to be indicted and removed for trampling all over our constitution.

I despise SCOTUS6, and I'm glad AOC introduced motions to impeach Thomas and Alito. They're treasonous to the constitution.

The vast majority of the SCOTUS need to be impeached and removed. You can't even make the argument that they are interpreting the constitution, they are blatantly breaking it.

The only good thing we get is to see how weak and corrupt the people in charge are.

The actions of Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts will go down in history as what not to do when it comes to defending and respecting the US Constitution.

SCOTUS is the problem, not the solution.

The Republican appointed Supreme Court 6 taking away legislation made by Congress needs to be stopped by Congress when the Republicans are voted out by the people. The lifetime seating for Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges needs to end and term limits with a code of ethics and rules and regulations that would hold the justices and federal judges accountable for their corruption needs to be implemented by congress years ago.
