Sadly, this is going to be my first Mother’s Day without my mom since she passed away a few weeks ago. But after hearing some of these horror stories just makes me grateful that even though our relationship was not perfect at times overall she was still a good woman rest in peace, Mom And thank you for all the amazing content Joel!
I remember watching the Yates case unfold. I would never excuse what Andrea did to her children, it’s horrifying. Having said that I’ve always thought Rusty should have been held more responsibility then her. He knew damn well what was happening. Instead of getting her the help she needed, he ignored it. He clung to his religion and in the end it cost him his family. She wasn’t a innocent player but she was just as vulnerable as those kids.
There's so much more to the Yates case. Definitely not going to get into all that here. But I can say Rusty deserves no sympathy. He does deserve to be burdened with guilt. Since he was able to move on and have another family (which was conveniently left out of the video) his conscience is clearer than it should be. At the very least he should've had forced sterilization.
The andrea yates story always breaks my heart😢 and i still think her husband should have been accounted for the deaths xx
The story around 23:21 reminds me of one of my childhood friends…my mom always let her spend the night but never let me go to their house. She was homeschooled after elementary so we lost touch but later when I was in college it came out in the news that he was SAing my childhood friend and her sisters. My mom told me that she always had a bad feeling about him and that’s why she never let me go over there. I’m SO thankful she stuck with her mother’s intuition
As someone who's seen a close family member lose their sanity and be completely unable to help them is a different level of pain. I hope he's alright. Spread the love
Andrea Yates's story is why I made sure to pay attention to any symptoms of PPD I had.
As a dewsbury native (pronounced Jews-Bury btw) I’ll never forget the Shannon matthews incident, all those nights out looking with my mum on the moor, all for it to be a hoax… it’s still talked about to this day.
Story 6: Sounds like Rusty/Russell is the one responsible for the death of their children....hope he got what he deserved.
7:53 "my mom starts going off in my pocket" 😂
