Second story, obviously NTA but there was an update on it and it is **long** . But to keep it as short as possible, reason she had a key was because OP's sperm donor's family thought she was trustworthy but don't anymore. She's also barred from picking up the kids from school, everyone's got their eyes on her, and she 'apologized' to OP because she thought they were 18. That aside, she's still causing problems. OP's little brother graduated from elementary school, OP's sperm donor and GF were banned from attending but were given permission to visit at the park after, and the GF just continued to be a problem. She constantly harassed and spoke down on OP, especially when her other brother mentions taking OP to a gala as their +1 since their GF wouldn't be available. Then at the gala, the GF just caused problem after problem for everyone, too many too list. It ended with her having a 'breakdown' about OP having a 'problem with her and everyone's done with her. OP's uncle is planning to take his brother aside about the whole thing. Sounds like the GF hates OP for being more of a 'mom' than her.

The other nurses probably just didn’t say anything because they all knew that the nurse was shouting complete BS. Probably just waiting for her to get fired

Story 3: I don’t think OP was overreacting, at least not that much. I don’t like being messed with when I’m in the gym either, and I know I’m not alone. Some people like OP get harassed during their workout by creeps. Or like me my workout is like my safe space for time where I can just be alone with my thoughts, listening to music or watching something. Maybe it was a guy trying to make a friend, but if someone is clearly disengage, don’t keep trying to fish for conversation leave them alone. OP doesn’t and shouldn’t have to be sorry for just being direct. And whatever reason she has for not wanting to socialize at the gym is her business.

Last story: OP deserves a 0/5 because what she said wasn't wrong about her friend. She's expecting too much for "the perfect man" to just walk into her life and be her SO. She needed a reality check, which OP gave her. Nobody's fault but the friend's if she couldn't handle the truth.

Story 1: I used to work at a bookstore in my university years and my dad came to visit me one time. I think I was tired or something, and my dad rubbed my back and told me what mom was making for dinner and that they'd see me at home. After, when I was in the staff room, one of my coworkers told me I was unprofessional because I was showing affection to a man in public, I guess??? I told her that he was my dad and she doubled down, saying it was not right and anyone could think it's a customer or something. Like, lady, you're literally the only one who thought that? Anyway, good for OP for nipping that shit at the bud.

Gym lady is not the AH for telling someone that they are not entitled to her time or attention and they just want to work out. Some people will take politely returning their wave or hello as an invitation to continue engaging, despite any uncomfortable body language you might display and will only understand if you tell them to F off. And the shirtless guy wonders why women are locked onto their phones and won’t tell him hi.
