Wow. Beautiful. I'm a youngest son of three, and though this song isn't about eldest sons, my two older brothers are who I thought of throughout. They really did watch over and protect, in ways I never realized until decades later. Even now, at 68, I'm discovering ways in which they helped raise and maintain me over the years.
