Hello, I'm a Haitian citizen. Because of the catastrophic situation of my country, we have been relegated to the last rank of the Caribbean Community. We can't enjoy all the benefits to which we would be entitled with our passport. But I'm still hopeful. One day Haiti will rise from the ashes and once again become the pearl of the Antilles.

When i came back from Africa, I reminded every Carribean person I came across, to renew thier back home passport. Its astonishing how many will completely throw it away in place of the u.s. one. Astonishing.

I am from Dominica, and survived the aforementioned hurricane years ago, and yes we are well underway with developing a climate resilient island nation. Proud to say that we are home to world's first sperm whale reserve, as well as the world's 2nd largest boiling lake (2nd to New Zealand). Probably the closest place to the garden of eden on the planet. We have no dangerous wildlife, probably the freshest water on the planet, and some of the most hospitable people you'll ever meet. If you want this citizenship it is well worth it, and I say to anyone with doubts, come visit and see for yourself. For a small island there's always something great to do outdoors, and you'll do so while breathing some of the purest air on earth. If you hold another island's citizenship you're free to visit as long as you wish since we have open borders to our sister islands.

I got Dominica in 2022 when it was $100,000. It's a backup plan for me. I'm not planning on renouncing US citizenship but like to have options. I've been there once and the people were nice. I would go back for sure.

Make sure remember when transitioning to a new Caribbean country to leave your original mindset home from were you originally came from these places are small and usually know who are the foreigners so being polite is a good start and have lots of patience because you are now in a new setting with people with different mindsets and being rude they will not forget you so patience is important 👍

This selling of citizenship by Caribbean nations must be carefully done though. Some people are usually a problem. It is time to choose wisely and know who always comes to destroy. I am always nervous about that.

Resident/Caribbean citizen here: Not all govs around us including some mentioned, have been pushing that money to the people. Corruption exists everywhere sure, but if you are someone investing In this, please ask questions about where the money is going. You don’t HAVE to care, but please put as much pressure as you can to know where your money goes. Might help keep them accountable if enough people ‘care’

I have lived abroad & i returned to the Caribbean...Trinidad to be exact. Best decision. The life abroad has some benefits, but most of it is an illusion. You are a literal slave to the system...their food is killing them & they're closer to hell with their immoral lifestyle....the list goes on & on. I am quite contented & happy with my sunshine, beaches, good healthy food & family. I love the vibe of our Caribbean ppl & thats good enough.
