Finally the first episode is here and we’ve returned to Derry to witness another nightmare. Whereas the losers club were always destined to survive, this ups the stakes by bringing in new characters. None of these kids are promised to make it to adults which is something that It was of course heavily based around. So I feel like it ratchets up the tension and yeah…first episode doesnt really take any prisoners. Throughout the series we’re gonna learn more of the history of derry and discover the backstory of the the creepiest clown on Earth.
