DOGE Spending Cuts CANCELLED By Republican Leadership! w/ Catherine Austin Fitts

House Republican leaders tentatively planned to vote on President Trump’s rescission package during the week of May 5, 2025. The package includes $9.3 billion in cuts to the State Department, NPR, PBS, and other areas, with the majority of the cuts focused on foreign aid, totaling roughly $8 billion. The vote was part of a fast-track procedure that allows it to be considered with just a simple majority required for passage in the Senate. As Congressman Massie points out, that vote has been indefinitely postponed, and may not happen at all, so the spending cuts from DOGE may not amount to much in the long run.
