The "TIMS-COOKED" code was redeemed 300 times, so I reupped it. Twice. 500 redemptions so far, 300 left. Have fun nerds!

Yeah, in those 4 years they ignored the court they laughed all the way to the bank - any fine should take that into account

Apple also bans you from telling your users how to get around those fees.

The worst part is apple doesn't actually process any payment. You still need the payment processor.

23:25 "Apple is normally so pro user..." Actually, "protecting" the user from the dev is exactly in line with every other "pro-user" thing they do. As a potential user, I don't want anywhere near their ecosystem, because they try to "protect" me from anything which isn't a clear revenue stream for them.

I think that's the first time in 20 years I've heard someone accuse Apple of being "pro-user."

I think it's crazy that the judge filled their order with more "or" statements without using "and/or" so that Apple can't pull the same stunt.

28:06 Apple throwing a DMCA claim for a video that puts them in a bad light is such a petty behaviour
