For me, at 53, I spent my life working 40-70 hours a week so I could maintain "middle class." I have went on a vacation for a week twice in my life. Now, I barely make enough to survive week to week. Like Tucker, I'm done. I am looking for something different. Anything different. Too rich to get benefits too poor to compete with the rich. As for Israel, I think people are turning against Israel/US partnership not Isreal's people or the Jewish religion. Israel is supposed to be this great ally but it is no ally of American citizens. AI- I would like to know how many people Anthropic added to their staff and have the wages of employees gone up. Not the higher management but the "grunts" in their workforce.
I am anticipating with joy the real Escape from New York occurring.
You're 100 percent correct Megyn! Jobs ARE disappearing. We live in an area that has always had tons of tech and engineering jobs. People move here because jobs are easy to find and the COL is low. Not anymore. Our son just graduated with a degree in Comp Science/Info Systems. He hasnt found a job in his career field in o months. He's doing a law enforcement job that has an entry pay 50 percent less. He has connections through family and friends locally and they all say the same thing, "not hiring". His brother is mgmt in a tech company and says they're doing the entry tech jobs with AI and ramping that up. It's not doomer. It's reality.

NO to AI. I don't trust the ppl in charge of it nor do I trust the ppl who write the code for it, they could easily get pissed at the co they work for and write something into the code that would make it lie, be biased, or even suggest things to harm ppl.
