Mrs Andersen conveniently forgets the war really started in 2014. All EU parliament members supported the war until they realized you never poke the bear.

Interesting that Christine didn’t mention Merkel/Germanys role in ignoring Minsk 1&2.

Someone needs to explain to this woman that the soviet state is no more.

Christine's definition of dictator and totalitarianism reinforces what I believe which is that Vladimir Putin is not a dictator nor is he running a totalitarian state.

What does she mean when she says Germany could have stopped Russia when it invaded? What could have Germany done that the West hasn’t already done? She also said Germany is defenseless, so what could have Germany done? Contradicting and doesn’t make sense. Russia could not and cannot be stopped…

Married to a Ukrainian Russian speaker. I think they see things quite a lot diffewrenctly, at least with respect to the USSR. They miss the Soviet Union. It gave them many things capitalism hasn't given them. As Alexander once said, the Soviets occupied Eastern Europe as a barrier against another invasion. Very misguidedly. Russians today don't consider they still live under a Soviet style system. They can speak their minds in a way not possible under the USSR. Putin represents their ideal of a defender of Russia against a hostile and Russophobic Europe. He seems genuinely popular.
