When I'm in a restaurant basically every little kid there has a tablet/phone. Even the rest of the families are glued to screens and they don't socialize with each other. The internet connects us to a lot of people, but none of them are the right kind of people.
Boredom is a privilege, honestly. Besides the obvious, it allows us to uncover the precious gifts of contemplation, curiosity and creativity! LET THEM GET BORED.

see it all the time, grocery store, at the park, restaurants... its incredible
You are so correct. However if the parents, themselves, would get off their phones and take a walk with their kids it would help . Everyone walks around with their heads down looking at their phones .
