I’ve been honored to work on a few of his films in the specialty costume department. One thing I’ve always loved is that he knows exactly what he wants. He’s also great at bouncing ideas around. He never seems flustered or raises his voice. I think about that often—how can I operate in the same way: cool and smart, yet flexible, decisive, and collaborative.
