Professional sports are nothing but professional actors. "Give them bread and circuses and they'll never revolt."
It's all a rigged show, yo! Roman bread and circuses, so the people don't revolt.
Sports betting.
It's insanity what it cost to go to any major league sports event. My husband & son went to a rangers game it was 40$ to park, 130 a ticket & 21$ for a small soda & pretzel 😡
They all ply for Vegas
This is America’s sport. It’s directly reflecting our modern culture—there’s a handful of men doing the real work, there’s superstars who are getting paid for what they “used to do”, there’s an entire industry dedicated to us worshipping and dreaming about “what if “, and there’s some real talent peppered in there. It’s overpriced and unsustainable. In 50 years, I hope there’s historians who are advising leaders to NEVER let a culture become this broken and corrupt again.
i was lucky to run into Jim & Tracy Morgan behind home plate @ Shea stadium - i was just like 13yrs old or so & they both took a few minutes of their day to talk with me - Im forever grateful Jim thank you!!
His met post game recaps we absolute gold back in 2015-19
🐾 The party on Francis Lewis boulevard in Whitestone Queens the night the Mets won in 86 was off the charts. Everyone and their mother was out there celebrating. Good times with old friends still in my circle. Much love fam XOXO
The bread is stale and the games are fixed...
