I swear I've seen this title like 5 times lol
To claim that saying "You can refuse *_illegal_* orders." is seditious speaks volumes about how self-aware our current administration is.
USN Veteran here - The idea that Kelly violated any article of the UCMJ is laughable, and I hope that him and Senator Slotkin (Also being investigated as of her own posting last night) throw everything they can back at the DOJ in response - use this to put a big ole spotlight on just how far the weaponization of the DOJ has gone.
Investigated for telling soldiers to follow their oath? This really is the dumbest timeline...
Trying to punish or even arrest someone for just stating the rights of soldiers is actually insane
If reminding troops that they must refuse illegal orders is seditious then that is a massive red flag. Its not illegal to remind people of the law and saying otherwise is wrong and should be investigated as to why they’re saying that stating the law is illegal
I'm not young, but I'm not that old and it boggles my mind that I worked through the holidays as a technician because "shit needs to get done" and yet here we have people in power, heavily important positions, with something that is serious, will affect the entire country and they can take days off, if not weeks to sing kumbaya while a big chunk of the country is nervous that next year will make things even more difficult when prices are increasing.
Point of order: No one falls under the "Department of War" jurisdiction since the United States doesn't have a Department of War
15:35 THIS is why America has so many problems. Under no circumstance should there ever be unnamed lawmakers. Their position is a public service, we should know who’s writing these laws, and that should affect elections. Otherwise it’s not a democracy.
