I lost my oldest son 10 yrs ago.He was an experienced Waterman and commercial fisherman.He had worked out of our Harbour since he was 13 yrs old.He was licensed by the U.S.Coast Guard. He went out fishing one day and didn't make it home.The locals scoured the coastline,no one found him.The boat was anchored but he had vanished. Without the coast guard we might have never found him,but they did.l can't tell you how deep my feelings go for our coast guard.I am 100% on Newports side,and l hope they get their chopper back ASAP. I think it's about time somebody pulled the bit back on Kristie NO-empathy. Good luck and God bless Newport,Oregon❤
