We need a Teague talk segment once a month

Kids telling Teague that he was “sad in the NBA” while they’re in high school and the NBA is not even on their radar, is crazy. But I believe him. It’s a new day. Best of luck to those kids that talked down to an NBA All-Star and Champion lol

I played D Book every year in high school. Moss Point was hot garbage, and Book had to do EVERYTHING. Dude averaged like 30 in high school and every team in Mississippi triple teamed him lmao. I always wondered why he did transfer to a better school, but his Dad knew exactly what he was doing. Fast forward, Book can be a great role player on a stacked Kentucky team, he can be the face of the phoenix suns and he over here picking up people full court in the olympics. Mad respect to book's process and his pops teaching him the game the right way.

I really like and appreciate when Jeff and the Pod get into this type of mode. It's not only great content but very informative as well. Wish there were more talks on the show.

Shelvin Mack was my childhood friend and highschool teammate that made the NBA for 9 years. About 3 or 4 is played in college from our high school D1, D2 etc.. a coach had us come back to our high school to talk to the team. The only question Shelvin got asked was, "what shoes do you wear on the court!" the coach facepalmed and said we have an NBA player here and the only thing a kid asks is about his shoes
