Republicans read the Constitution the same way they read The Bible, they don't.
I swear to god I’m gonna clone Mamdani and pack the court with 17 of them.
Not a lawyer but Alito and Thomas should be tried for treason if we had a functioning government…Roberts should just be impeached and disbarred.
Listening to Destiny blow up stops me blowing up with anything irl. I’m a 46 year old man 😂
It insane how the Voting Right Act has been gutted time and time again. These delusional conservative justices talk about a "time limit" for protecting black people from the racist south.
lol, what a weird use of HANL as the intro music 😂
The fundamental flaw with the Court's rationale is saying that partisan gerrymandering is a legitimate government interest. They specifically said the members of the government have a legitimate interest in protecting their incumbency. That is so fucking backwards, it's hard to even know where to begin. Fundamentally, the way a representative democracy works is that voters need to be free to choose their representatives, AND be free to vote them out if they are underperforming. It can never be a legitimate government interest for an elected representative to win, then turn around and remove the ability of the people that voted them in to vote them out. This started with Rucho v. Common Cause, and every decision the Court has made since then flows from it. That's not even counting the terrible decision in Shelby County v. Holder. And the thing is, you know if the Court wanted a different outcome, they'd find some way to have it. It's so disheartening as a lawyer to pretend every day that precedent means anything at all, as opposed to being a facade for judicial preferences.
"Have a nice life" as the intro song is fucking BASED.
A righteous rant.
Have A Nice Life. I feel like checking in to hear the music selection at the beginning of the video is like a new past time lol
