WHAT A FUN & WELCOME SURPRISE!! Wonder Man Full Episode Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects - Wonder Man Episodes 5 thru 8 Reaction https://youtu.be/5EmAreVyZd4 - Visit http://www.liquidiv.com & use Promo Code: REJECTS - Gift Someone (Or Yourself) An RR Tee! https://shorturl.at/hekk2 Coy Jandreau, Aaron Alexander & Greg Alba react to Episodes 1–4 of Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man (2026), the MCU’s most offbeat and character-driven series to date. Blending superhero mythology with sharp Hollywood satire, the show follows a would-be star navigating fame, family, and hidden power in modern-day Los Angeles as part of Marvel’s more grounded “Marvel Spotlight” storytelling approach. The series centers on Simon Williams / Wonder Man (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II – Watchmen, Aquaman), a struggling actor in L.A. who secretly possesses mysterious superhuman abilities he’s worked hard to keep hidden. Episode 1 introduces Simon and reintroduces washed-up actor Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley – Gandhi, Iron Man 3), now serving as Simon’s chaotic mentor, as Simon learns about an audition for an in-universe superhero film titled Wonder Man—and decides to chase the role that could change his life. Episode 2 expands the MCU’s Los Angeles setting, following Simon as he auditions for another project tied to the same casting team, further exposing the brutal, performative nature of the industry. Episode 3 shifts into more personal territory, introducing Simon’s family and their Haitian cultural background while also establishing Simon as something of an outsider at home. A pivotal kitchen scene at his mother’s home delivers one of the most talked-about moments so far, as Simon’s true powers are finally revealed, reframing everything we’ve seen about his struggle and restraint. The opening arc culminates in Episode 4, a striking black-and-white bottle episode that dives into the backstory of the Doorman, the first super-powered individual in Hollywood, expanding the show’s themes of exploitation, identity, and legacy beyond Simon himself. Across these episodes, Wonder Man balances grounded action with biting commentary on celebrity culture, asking what it really means to “play a hero” in a world obsessed with image. With its experimental tone, intimate character focus, and unexpected visual swings, the series sets itself apart as one of Marvel’s boldest and most unconventional entries yet. #WonderMan #MarvelStudios #MCU #YahyaAbdulMateenII #BenKingsley #MarvelSpotlight #SimonWilliams #TrevorSlattery #SuperheroSeries #HollywoodSatire #DisneyPlus #Phase5 #TVReaction #TVReview #Binge #Bingeworthy #React #ReactTo #Reaction Avengers Doomsday Xmen Trailer Reaction https://youtu.be/Qbtn0PPKRRU Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Reaction Commentary: https://youtu.be/UNBKLJnA6p8 Eyes of Wakanda Eps 1 - 4 Reaction: https://youtu.be/rRqs7XjQJx8 Thunderbolts* (2025) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/WcYxq-uuu9U Marvel Zombies Eps 1 - 4 Reaction: https://youtu.be/qdf-nMF5FTc Daredevil: Born Again Ep 1 Reaction: https://youtu.be/DA6K1sANUP8 0:00 Checking In! 1:28 Wonder Man Episode 1 Reaction 19:09 Wonder Man Episode 2 Reaction 35:43 LIQUID IV 37:49 Wonder Man Episode 3 Reaction 52:34 Wonder Man Episode 4 Reaction 1:06:34 Wonder Man Review Follow *Aaron Alexander* https://www.instagram.com/therealaaronalexander/?hl=en Follow Coy: https://www.youtube.com/@CoyJandreau https://www.tiktok.com/@coyjandreau?lang=en https://www.instagram.com/coyjandreau/?hl=en https://twitter.com/CoyJandreau Follow Greg Alba: https://www.instagram.com/thegregalba/ https://twitter.com/thegregalba Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en https://twitter.com/thereelrejects https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/prapermedia Co-Editor: Greg Alba Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG

Ended up binging the entire season. Marvel should be proud of this show yet ashamed for their terrible marketing for it.

If this show didn't have the Marvel Studio logo it'd be in award discussions

Had no expectations for the show, barely know the character from the comics… I got hooked two episodes in and I stayed up late to binge watch all 8 episodes. I liked it a lot. Tons of passion from everyone there. It’s like a love letter to acting

Best thing about episode 4 is continuously thinking something’s about to go wrong for the entire episode. I didn’t expect it to go on for so long and every other scene feels like it can go south lol

Small thing, but I love the line about how acting isn't a job by Trevor Slattery/Ben Kingsley. It's absolutely a joke line, but it actually hit me because some people do have to "Small A" act in every day life, to try and fit into society as a whole. I used to have to do that and thankfully I'm past that for my own sake, but when I heard that line, I was taken aback by the fact I _was_ taken aback.

Doorman is a character in the comics in the show I'm glad he looks like his comic book character.

I like how Slattery appears ridiculous when interacting with others until he’s seen with someone who gets him where it becomes normal… so clever
