All due respect to Lynne, she is just in a bad company, trying to do a lease purchase. Ive been in trucking 10 years, seen countless paychecks for drivers, no check looks like the one mentioned in the video. Average weekly pay for company driver over the road is around $1500. Owner ops for a week can expect between 2-3k depending on the economy. Economy has been terrible for 3 years, so pay might have gone down a bit (example company drivers pay went down $0.1 per mile). Regarding Lynne, she is getting robbed. National Van Rates are $2.2 per mile, she is getting a dollar less. She is robbed out of $3k per week.
There's no such thing as trading freedom for safety, because when you're not free, you're not safe.
When you hear the words labor shortage understand it is about getting H1B visas approved nothing else.
I work in the trucking industry. I have for the last 6 years. She’s working for the wrong company…
And all of a sudden 15 minute cities and self driving cars to track your location with stop switch in them
That is so sad, but pisses me off too!
The world it's so dark in reality..
God bless you Ian for spreading this information
Slavery never died, they just changed the name to employment.
