Remember when the FCC tried to ban Eminem under Bush? They fined stations, pressured MTV, and called him dangerous. But he didn’t back down—he mocked the censors, turned the attacks into fuel, and his fans stood by him. Every controversy made people buy his albums and request his songs on the radio. The more they tried to silence him, the bigger he got. And let’s be real, I love Eminem, but his lyrics are way more offensive than anything on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Whether you like Kimmel or not, this isn’t about comedy—it’s about free speech. We need to stop fighting each other and stand together. This is fascism creeping in—let’s fight, we the people!
An apology *and* a donation? Sounds like extortion to me. He shouldn't have to financially contribute to any foundation that campaigns against human rights.
Freedom of speech is everyone's favorite until they hear something they don't like
This is basically another Red Scare, many people forget that many people that were affected by the Red Scare were not investigated by the FBI but instead fired and blacklisted, their lives were ruined for talking out of line and the US was a worse place for it.
Unfortunately, when the option is 'Freedom' or 'Money' Corporations always choose 'Money'

I really appreciate that you take a second to explicitly call out shifting from reporting news to your personal opinion. For most the distinction is apparent by the tone and content, but many bad actors will blur the line to maintain plausible deniability.
I can’t help but wonder if they know what steam actually is. Perhaps they just know a lot of young people are on steam and talk about it.
