She DEFINITELY needs to primary Schumer. F that coward. Part of why we're here is because of him and his spineless leadership. AOC realistically wouldn't be able to leapfrog into the presidency right now, but she could help strengthen the new Democratic leadership and reshape it in the way it so desperately needs. She has my vote.

The *best* part of this interview, IMO, is when when AOC accepted the framing that she was responsible for the shutdown because Schumer is worried about a primary. She told them to meet in her office to negotiate directly. Loved that.

She is a perfect example of an opposition party. She speaking the language of opposition and it needs be amplified not just for the current republican party, but for democrats that are trying to hold onto mediocrity!!

AOC is putting on a masterclass in how to talk about and to Republicans.

All of the old people with old values and no fight in them need to be primaried. We need more politicians like AOC and Zohran Mamdani. The fact that the vast majority of Democrats have been sitting on their hands and allowing fascism to take over right in front of them should tell you all you need to know.

Without saying his name, AOC is describing exactly why Chuck Schumer is last person we need to lead the party right now.
