I don’t like talking about it, but I grew up “gay” and struggled with it throughout my childhood and teenage years. I was sexually active, but never truly satisfied, and always felt guilty because I knew God wasn’t pleased with the life I was living. When I started listening to Candace and her content about the Freud family and the influence of psychology, music, movies, and media, I began to rethink everything. I cut out music, TV shows, and porn completely and focused on God instead. Over time, my view of the world changed — and so did my attractions. I lost interest in men and found women appealing again. That moment hit me deeply, realizing how much the world had shaped me. Now, almost two years into this battle, I feel better than ever.

Working as a nurse, I had to do intakes on my patients. In order the questions would say "do you have any history of verbal/physical/sexual abuse?" and then right after "what is your sexual orientation?" I never had someone admit to being gay that didn't also have a history of abuse. In 3 years of doing intakes. I always wondered how no one was putting this together.
