Iβm a Taiwanese, i could say In Taiwan, much like in the United States, voters select candidates based on their potential to govern effectively or due to personal affinity, rather than solely on singular issues such as support for war. Across the spectrum of candidates, none will officially declare Taiwan as a "country.

I say, another phenomenal Deals Page plug! If sponsorship spots keep moving in this direction, nobody will ever skip an ad by 2024.
I remember when I was a little boy (35-40 years ago), it said "Made in Taiwan" on almost every plastic toy I had, like "Made in Taiwan" was the first letters I could every read, and then now every time I hear or read the name Nvidia, the only thing I can think about is that the GPU's I have mined Ethereum during the "Proof of Work", and played all my computer games with, are "Made in Taiwan". Thats incredible just thinking about how much a such small country as Taiwan has influenced the world, both back in the past, and specially now. Let's hope Taiwan stay independent.
In 1977 a TaΓ―wan Representative spoke to a group I attended. He was asked about the seeming lack of progress toward the legitimate governmentβs reestablishing on the mainland. (I think at the time the parties were still daily shelling each other at remote islands just to keep their relative positions known.). He responded that the Chinese mindset is more long-term than Westerns; that those in Taiwan are determined to continue toward eventual success if it takes a thousand years.
