Popok explains that the Judge obviously believes that #2 in the DOJ Todd Blanche needs to testify, but will let the government hang itself at the hearing without Blanche present. Even if Abrego Garcia prevails, this DOJ will look for something else to persecute him with. I have absolutely zero faith in them acting in good faith. This is such a shameful period in our history, and it makes me angry and sad.

A judge tells Blanche they have no evidence of a crime, so they go make up evidence of a different crime? So the judge was correct.

The officials that brought the phony charges should be legally liable for their illegal vindictive prosecution!

"We lost a court case in Maryland, so we'll just attach it to another case in Tennessee instead." That sounds like sufficient grounds for a dismissal of both cases WITH PREJUDICE.

The icing on the cake would be to give Abrego asylum.

You are doing something wrong Todd, and the judge appropriately called you out on it.
