Unions were great until they got tangled in with politicians. I was in a union and so was my husband. We made good money and had good benefits, but there were political issues I didn't care for. My dad worked as a business rep for the union and it was so stressful with the politics, that he had a heart attack and almost didn't make it. Anytime politics is involved, even in a club, there's bad news.

I was part of a union. I left because I was working 72+ hours a week and was told I'd be working that for probably 20 years. On top of that, the senior workers and some of the new ones were incredibly lazy, making working with them extremely difficult. Some unions I've heard are great. Others... not so much.

38yr old california union member here. We aren't all corrupt and liberal. I voted for Trump....twice. My Union didn't force the jab, and the non-union workforce in socal is competitive, keeping the necessary balance as to deny a monopoly for either side. I get paid far better than my non-union counterparts, a necessary wage to just afford the choice to buy a steak at the grocery store over bologna.

Union member here. I was against union jobs. I got hired to work in a union factory. I can attest that corruption is ripe even at the low levels. I can also attest that its saved the jobs of good people who got stuck in bad situations.

As a mariner, I know how much power the longshoremen have over the country.
