I honestly think that the first 20 minutes of the movie is objectively better than the entirety of kingdom of crystal skull in every conceivable way. It’s a shame that this movie didn’t get better after the first 20 minutes.

My favourite part was when Doc Brown drove in and said "Dial? Where we're going we wont need Dial" and drove into the screen. Absolutely phenomenal

You should start doing a spoiler version of the moist meter. Would love to hear your full thoughts where you can discuss the movies with no filter

I do agree that one of the main problems with this movie and the last one is the fact that Harrison Ford is quite literally a senior citizen, so they can't really maintain the same fun action and momentum that the original trilogy excelled at.

It's always a treat to watch Mads Mikkelsen doing his thing in any movie. No matter how stinky it is, he's always great to see

love the part where Indy says “You can’t be funny, you’re German.”

Describing John Williams scores as cheek slamming is on point.

Only complaint I really could have was the fact that there was no explanation on how the hell voller survived that pole to the face at the beginning and then came back with no severe damage to his face at all

I actually kind of disagree, I think Harrison did a good job acting in the movie when he talked about his friend dieing I genuinely felt his pain, it was far more the direction of the scene and dialog rather than the delivery from the actors

Respect for not just shitting on the movie like every other big name reviewer. While the film definitely could've done some things better I didn't think it was the dumpster fire that many were saying. Like you said, not a bad film. As a huge Indy fan I enjoyed it overall. The man with the hat could've had a far worse send off.
