that sheriff should be in jail. he orchestrated that entire process, intimidated / bribed "witnesses" to lock up an innocent man, robbing him of what should have been the best part of his life. absolutely disgusting...

The Sheriff who reopened that case is a good man. It is basically unheard of that law enforcement reopens a closed case willingly. I’ve actually never seen it happen before.

So were the witnesses who provided false testimony charged for obstruction of justice?

With the lightening, old dilapidated prison, eerie creaking sounds, low-key chiaroscuro effect lighting and then fading to an innocent man Joshua Kezer, twisting his neck both ways to relieve the tension, there sitting on the prison bunk stating is disbelief, "I was called a monster....calling me a killer, calling me a murderer." One of my favorite 48 hrs episodes. I'm not even a student of film, but truly appreciated this work.
