Owning the Kia EV9: Still the Best Electric SUV? | One-Year Road Test and Review

I have had my EV9 for almost a year and have put over 11K miles on it. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!

5k miles in and we love it. This is my first EV, and I couldn't be happier. It's roomy, easy to drive, and very quiet. If you want minimalist, leading-edge tech? Then this won't be for you.

This was extreemly helpful. We are getting rid of our 2017 Tesla Model X. The falcon wings have hit too many heads and the HVAC in the car is horrible. We want another EV. This video gave alot of useful info.Thank you.

We have done 50,000kms on ours in the last year and love it, great design. It is our only car and serves us as a family of 4 very well. We tow a horse float weighing 2.3 tonnes on it quite regularly. Feels like there is a lot of fear with owning an EV, but I don't regret it at all. Based on my rough maths and electricity prices in Australia, charging at homes ends up being about a quarter of what you pay in diesel to go the same distance.

I love my EV9 GT line. It’s an absolute head turner and the ride is so smooth. I’ve had it for about 4 months slightly under 3k miles with no issues so far. I also have another EV (Escalade IQ) which is a game changer. I can say I get almost as many compliments with my EV9 as my IQ. Don’t get me wrong the IQ is on another level but the Kia holds it own. The technology is amazing and it’s extremely comfortable. My only gripe is you have to push the button on the gear to cut the car off and sometimes I forgets. I never thought I would have a Kia but I am so glad that I did it’s been a joy.

I have a mighty need for the smaller EV3 here in San Diego. Watching all the reviews from abroad and then the U.S. EV9 reviews have me so excited.
