It’s me MT and welcome back to the Heavy Spoilers show! Peacemaker Episode 3 just dropped and I’ve gotta say…something REEEEALL fishy is going on in this new universe that Peacemaker begins to explore. Let’s go ahead break down all the hidden details and Easter Eggs in this episode so you guys can see what I mean…because, if you study the background of a lot of the shots…something REALLY important is missing. So let’s go ahead and get our Peace on! Episode 3 titled “Another Rick Up My Sleeve” opens three years prior to the present day events of the series. And immediately we’re met with a familiar face in the form of Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag Jr…who we last saw getting his heartbroken by Peacemaker after the two had an intimate cuddle session in the fictional DC Comics country of Corto Maltese in 2021’s “The Suicide Squad”. But right before that very Task Force X mission that would get him killed, apparently Harcourt would get a late night visit from Rick Flag Junior JUNIOR if you know what I mean. And while Rick would like the night to be more than a one night stand with a friend with benefits, Harcourt reminds him that he’s actually very much in a relationship with archelogist June Moone…
