It's almost like 90% of the issues plaguing college football could be figured out if we had centralized power governing, instead of conferences fighting to mold the sport into what they want.
Josh can you actually criticize the SEC and point out the flaws in their reasoning for saying their schedule is that much better than the big 10. You are so close man because you realize it’s a problem they will get 7 teams in the 5+ 11 model. Finish your thought on why they would get 7 teams. Power ratings would have to matter in the 5 +11 model. Makes sense the sec would want that considering Arkansas is power rated higher than Illinois who has the highest returning production in CFB. Why wouldn’t the SEC want the 5+11 when EsecPN power rates over half of their teams in the top 25. They already over weigh recruiting and place no emphasis on development. This is the reason that Iowa and Washington have had better programs over the past 20 years than Texas AM but AM is still consistently power rated in the top 15. I fully understand that power rankings are different from traditional polls, and are a reflection of Vegas odds and projections of talent. But you can’t tell me with a straight face that playing Arkansas, and Kentucky who is power rated 34 are tougher teams than Illinois and Iowa.
Nobody ever accused u of being a B10 homer. Haha
Not every team in the sec is good and very few of the best sec teams play the best sec teams.
I’m sure the people who defended the B12 coming out in pushing for 5-11 was the way to go because “well the SEC don’t want it so clearly that’s good sign it’s the right format” are feeling good about this still, right?
"Hey man, the ACC and BIg 12 are pretty adamant about this format. Maybe we should hear them out. 😏" -SEC
1:36 "not that casuals would ever be watching this show" 👁👄👁
Whatever option leads to the actual results on the field determining the playoff field instead of some committee arbitrarily applying different standards year by year.
Talking about preserving the regular season meaning left with the expanding playoff format
Intro has me cracking up 😂 Love you Pate Go Dawgs!
