i would have lined up for one of these subaru hybrid if they all came with the new Outback's buttons control console
Wait for a 2027. Hopefully the infotainment gets improved.
The Subaru-Toyota crossover is really a great one. I know several people who are very happy to see Subaru getting hybrid systems- and the reliable Toyota tech, no less.
Shoutout to the camera work, it’s always in focus and showing us exactly what’s being talked about. It really makes the videos great
Thanks for the under 50 grand car reviews.
Speaking as a retired video professional myself, your video guy does an excellent job shooting these reviews. Great camera work.
Thank you for being honest about the infotainment center deficiencies.
That's why i bought a Subaru; they're not flashy but they're functional.
We just purchased one of these. Thank you for your outstanding overview. Informative and helpful. We test drove a RAV4 and Corolla Cross and felt like this was a quieter, more comfortable ride. While not a fan of the touch screen, my daughter (an Outback owner) told me it is something you will get used to and bonus, it has voice controls while you are driving... short press on the voice command button and you can ask the car to turn on the AC and increase fan speed. I'd still prefer physical, tactile buttons. I'll just remain patient and learn to use what is there.
We bought my wife a limited about 2ish months ago and she absolutely loves it. The screen for an owner honestly becomes almost an afterthought. I mean she gets in the car, starts it and drives off. Already has the climate set to what she likes and the sat radio on so the screen almost never gets used. Also the vehicle comes with the vehicle WIFI on and if you go into the settings and turn that off it helps ALOT with the lag. So far getting a touch over 37mpg I’ve driven it a number of times too and the hybrid system is honestly amazing. The only way you can even tell when the engine kicks on and off is the little EV light going on and off otherwise it’s so smooth you don’t notice it at all. We’ve been beyond happy with it.
