The r/nosleep rules are so obnoxious and force stories to have really tedious and dumb framing devices. Like remember how Left/Right Game had each chapter begin with some random irreverent character "posting" the story to nosleep which added literally nothing to the story? Or the haunted cruise ship episode where the characters inexplicably feel the need to check reddit before making any decisions? So many of the stories they've read would have been better / cleaned up by getting rid of the nosleep stuff and just telling the story
