I lived in Fairbanks when this happened and it was this case that caused me to get serious about K9 urban search and rescue. Ultimately, raising children has delayed my abilities to join a team, but I own every book written and have a practice partner pooch that has helped me learn the skills needed. My youngest is now a junior and I've just recently reengaged the path. Very interesting that this story found me again
