not just illegal, but legal immigrants should have zero access to benefits. the whole point of allowing them in is that they wont be dependent, but contributors.
If the people on SNAP can live and eat better than the working people, then SOMETHING IS FUCKING WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM!!!
Considering of the 42million who are on it, over half are NOT citizens.
A liberal judge already has his/her ruling ready to go saying ending an unconstitutional program is unconstitutional
My mom and I needed SNAP for a short period. She was terminally ill and I was 17. My father had been telling me for years that the moment I turned 18, I'd be a street urchin because he was kicking me out as soon as it was legal to do so. I dropped out of school and got a job, saved up every cent he didn't steal from 14 on, and moved us out two months before my birthday. The government decided we only needed $16 a month in benefits. We survived but it makes me burn with rage when I see these POS people buying red bulls and salmon while people who actually need a little help for a TEMPORARY period get shafted.
With proof of citizenship or no benefit, if the states don't comply simply cut them off
I was laughed out of the SNAP office because of my gender and color of my skin, they said so specifically, been paying my taxes every year since I was 17. Id be perfectly fine if all these people starved, just like I was told to do. Better still, give me my taxes back in full, and ill agree to never apply for assistance that the government refuses to give me anyways.
Start with the states who haven’t sent their info. Period.
Anyone remember when being on foodstamps was embarrassing? These people act like its a badge of honor these days.
Its about time! This needs to be done every other year or so to catch and weed out fraud and abuse.
