Disney forgets they had decades of massively profitable animated movies with the overwhelming majority starring princess leads. Make good stories, go back to basics. Period.
Gotta love how the very people who politicize everything they touch are lamenting the politicization of pissed off fans.
The M-She-U has become the WNBA of movies. They made something specifically so women could feel “equal”, then blame males for not watching while ignoring that women never came out to support their sex.
I'm now convinced that I could run a show/movie better than these people. And I've never worked in the industry before.
Seeing Disney/Marvel and Hollywood in general fail after a DECADE of shitting on fans has been cathartic.
Any company that could ruin Star Wars, definitely needs to “retool”.
This is like going to a restaurant with an all female staff, ordering a steak, getting given a bowl of porridge, and then getting yelled at by the wait staff, chef, and manager for not liking the meal.
Imagine if a guy said that “I loved working with the all the male producers, male characters, male villains. It was wonderful” it’s so cringe
"M-She-U" and "Mary Sue-icide" has more creative thought put into it than whatever things Disney released so far
When they say it's time for a multi-billion dollar company to Pivot, I think of a train with hundreds of cars trying to "Pivot".
