At this point I’m convinced Siri is just a polite calculator
I asked Siri to cancel two timers the other day. It asked me if I wanted to cancel both timers. I responded "Yes." It responded, "Yes are an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968."

I once asked Siri “Get me directions home”; it replied “I can Google that once you’ve finished driving”.
I set my Siri to “Australian English Female” so that every time she screws up I can write it off as a cultural misunderstanding.
"I accidentally trigger Siri more than I use Siri." Favourite MKBHD quote.
The fact that Apple has to do a deal with Google to use Gemini says it all.

Siri used to be 100x more useful to me than it is today. It has definitely gotten worse with each update over the years. Now, I can't even ask it to play a song in the car via Carplay without it deciding I *really* want to listen to some esoteric remix I've never heard of instead of literally the song I asked for. I ask it to start timers and it makes calendar entries. I ask it to read messages and it calls the last person in my recent contacts. It's now useless. Oh, my favourite is when it starts playing a song I didn't ask for and I respond with 'No that's not what I asked for', it will then reply 'Ok, done.' WHAT IS DONE? I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. 'I can't answer that while you're driving' wtf.
