I CRIED LIKE A BABY at the end. I thought it was well done, even though the tone was different. It had the nostalgia I needed, and the emotion I wanted.
As a MASSIVE Ghostbusters fanboy, i adored this movie! Cried like a bitch at the end 😭 the theatre lost it during the final act and some of the audience members were suited up in flight suits! Great cinema experience
Had the feels at the end with Harold. Love this movie. I think Afterlife is the best film in the theaters Ive seen all year. Amazing ride!

I fully disagree with your thoughts on the end, it was perfect and fit in the story perfectly. It seems so similar because it’s the same villain and and it finally gets the boys back together, and I can’t wait for sequels where the og’s mentor the new recruits

I cannot agree. This movie was everything I wanted in a Ghostbusters film. We are talking about a Gozer who learned her lasson from her last encounter with the guys. The final act was a perfect mix of action and dtama for me.

i absolutely loved it. I cried like a baby. I took my 16yr old son with me and we rewatched the original GB the night before and he loved it as well. I thought it was great, yeah the third act was a bit weak but overall I LOVED IT!!!
I feel like this movie was a “finishing what they started” kinda thing. It felt so nostalgic in some parts and it made me cry some happy and sad tears during the end I just loved it so much.
