Roxy Striar, Andrew Gordon, & Jon Maturan react to and review Weapons (2025), the chilling new horror mystery from writer-director Zach Cregger (Barbarian, The Whitest Kids U’ Know). Known for blending unsettling atmosphere with shocking twists, Cregger’s latest film delivers another deeply disturbing story—one centered on a mysterious event that shakes an entire community. Set in a quiet town rocked by an inexplicable tragedy, Weapons unfolds through multiple perspectives as residents attempt to uncover what really happened. Amy Madigan (Field of Dreams, Gone Baby Gone) plays a key community figure drawn into the disturbing mystery, while Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) portrays a woman caught at the center of the town’s unraveling. Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men, Avengers: Infinity War) brings intensity as a determined figure searching for answers, joined by Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Hail, Caesar!) and Austin Abrams (Euphoria, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) in roles that gradually reveal the horrifying truth behind the film’s central event. As the story unfolds through eerie clues, haunting imagery, and shocking revelations, Weapons builds toward several unforgettable horror sequences and a deeply unsettling finale that has already sparked major conversation among genre fans. With its creeping dread, layered storytelling, and standout performances, the film cements Zach Cregger as one of the most exciting voices in modern horror. #Weapons #Weapons2025 #ZachCregger #AmyMadigan #JuliaGarner #JoshBrolin #AldenEhrenreich #HorrorMystery #FilmReaction #MovieReview #Movie #Movies #React ReactTo #Reaction #Horror #HorrorMovies #HorrorFans #NewMovie #Oscars #AcademyAwards MaxXxine (2024) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/WnuKLZsHRqA Scream VI (2023) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/7mu21gFXA2s The Housemaid (2025) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/gLUnDptXRIU Silent Hill (2006) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/zm3KN2Ntnns Follow *Roxy Striar* https://www.instagram.com/roxystriar/?hl=en https://twitter.com/roxystriar Follow *Andrew Gordon:* https://www.youtube.com/@MovieSource https://www.instagram.com/agor711/?hl=en https://twitter.com/Agor711 Follow Jon Maturan: https://www.instagram.com/jonmaturan/?hl=en 0:00 Checking In! 2:05 Weapons Reaction 37:30 PRIZE PICKS 38:42 Weapons Movie Reaction 1:14:36 Weapons Movie Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/prapermedia Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG Ask Us A QUESTION On CAMEO: https://www.cameo.com/thereelrejects Follow GREG On INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/thegregalba/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thegregalba PLAYLISTS: Movie Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw-comtadVs8b9JsZEWHUyr8 Sketches & Short Films: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_zWuTRfBOUP3aYyIYRzc2y

We should really prioritize you guys being able to see the movie versus you being properly lit with studio lights.

Congrats to Amy Madigan! Also, I love how the director tells the audience exactly who the villain is in the beginning when we saw "WITCH" painted on the car but most of us didn't pick up on it.

James was handcuffed and no longer a threat when he was knocked out. If the camera footage is released due to James reporting it’s clear police brutality.

I love how many of us are in agreement that the woman walking up to the car with the scissors and unlocking the door was one of the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE moments in any horror movie ever.

Yes, a cop gets in trouble (or should) for hitting a civilian, even if the civilian lied about something. Cops don't get the pick & choose the reason a person might piss them off enough to beat them.

People need to fix their brightness, or adjust the lighting in the room to where you can actually see. We don’t need to see you completely perfectly, but you need to be able to see the movie..
