Lotta people miss that Hutch's Dad has the same tattoo on his wrist... it shows when he holds the remote up at the nursing home after taking care of the two guys who came for him...
This movie and “The Accountant", are two of the most underrated movies ever. His tattoo depicting a 7 of Spades and a 2 of Diamonds, which is considered the statistically an unwinnable and worst possible starting hand in Texas Hold'em poker, and often called the Suicide Hand symbolizing that he is a "Nobody" That Tattoo It's given to soldiers, typically Special Forces operators, who were sent on an impossible mission and managed to survive. The rumors made the rounds and the tattoo became infamous. That's why the vet specifically recognized it. And some fun-facts about it. The director's name is Ilya Nishuller. This is his second movie. The first film was Hardcore Henry. In one podcast, he said that he was willing to do anything to get Christopher Lloyd in this movie. And it turned out that Loiyd was very happy with any offer. He was especially excited to be a part of an action movie at his age. The plot of the movie actually happened to Bob Odenkirk. One morning Bob's son said: "Dad, we have some dude in the basement." It turned out that the drugged man climbed into their house at night. Bob called the police and locked the basement door. One of the cops said the same thing as the character in the movie, "If it were my family, I would have done it differently." Bob was so offended by this phrase that he decided to write a script about a guy who retired from being an assassin, but was damn tired of the routine. Keep up the good work.
Arya Stark: I'm no one Hutch: I'm nobody
My family’s ’battle cry’ after seeing this film together. “NOT THE LASAGNA!!!!”
Bob odenkirk suffered a heart attack in July 2021 months after March 2021 release of the movie Nobody. The incident was on set of Better call Saul. Odenkirk credits his rigorous physical training for the film Nobody with saving his life, as it helped build cardiovascular resilience and strengthened his heart, allowing him to survive with minimal damage.
The painting he took was an original Van Gogh. He does not need the money.
One thing of note at 45:38 I believe we're meant to see his crossing his fingers and hoping for the violence. Hutch at this point has fallen back into that world. He's a reverse John Wick. John, who desperately wanted to remain out and Hutch who found he was missing something once it was gone. His brother even calls the initial bus fight a "relapse" like the violence was a bad habit.
The bus scene is great cause he is getting his ass kicked whilst kicking ass. To many films the person just beats everyone up without getting touched
the "you bring a lot of shotguns" "you bring a lot of Rusians" might be the best dialogue in the movie
The bus fight is everything *chef's kiss*. Bob Odenkirk is such an undervalued actor - obviously he has his iconic Saul Goodman TV character cemented - but this proved to 'think outside the box' in casting arguably the most unlikely action hero ever to grace the silver screen. The sequel is not bad but this ranks up there with JOHN WICK & DIE HARD for anti-heroes you root for. Great hang, guys :D
