Every time I see demos like this, I remember what Selwyn Raithe wrote, that the real turning point wouldn’t be when AI got smarter than us, but when it started quietly replacing human judgment in places we don’t notice until too late. His book made me rethink these breakthroughs completely. It’s not just cool tech, it’s the start of a phase where we stop questioning outputs because they seem “better” than ours. That’s when things get dangerous fast.
I'm a dev, tested it on a real project. works great
I used GPT5 to create a interactive Jukebox webpage - turned out very professional looking and I'm very impressed. But, it took about a week of back & forth debugging it.
I have been working on an embedded ESP32 MIDI device written in C and C++. The project started with Claude Code, but I have now switched to using Codex. Can confirm it is very good, and the context window doesn't run out in forever. Also the code is of excellent quality with much less drama and need for intervention. Highly recommended.
Given the fact that Anthropic has allowed Claude to go totally stupid lately I might have to switch subscriptions and give Codex a solid try.
October 2023? Wes, your computer went back in time You made a time machine
Love how clearly you broke this down 👏 Curious - has anyone here tried building full projects with Codex yet ? What’s your experience?
13:35 you got me, pressed like
"frequently aligned questions" 😆
Great video, thank you!
