The dude directing Red Sonja was the dude who wrote and directed Solomon Kane, but he has been a "woman" since 2017. He was married with three kids. In an interview he made it seem like he might still be married to his wife, but I'm not sure. He said he was afraid to "die in the wrong body," which is really sad and pathetic. No one is in the "wrong" body if it is the one they were born with. It is disgusting that our society treats mental illness as if it is just your "true self." It creates a false sense of fulfilment and happiness in people that won't last.
The only positive thing about these awful shows and movies is that they really make you appreciate how good the old movies actually were. With all the modern special effects and cgi and they can’t produce anything that even comes close the stuff we grew up with.
I remember an older interview with Mark Hamill where he said he only married his wife because she was pregnant at the time (around the time of TESB) and it would have been bad press to have a child out of wedlock at the time since he was playing Luke. He actually said he regretted it, even though they are still married. That baby, by the way, was the same son with the pregnant girlfriend who he and Mark tried to pressure into getting an abortion. Hamill shouldn't lecture anyone on morality.
For FNT! For the Fellowship! For the fat bottomed turkeys! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
This will end up making Steven Moffat look even better, especially considering the best episodes of the RTD Doctor Who era were written by Moffat.
"How does it feel to live long enough to see all your favorite franchises destroyed?"
After tonight's show I went online to buy the Batman trilogy and make me grateful I never sold off my old dvds and blu rays.
1:00:00 To answer Chrissie`s question Blu-ray vs DVD: - 6-7 times better image quality - if you don`t watch from huge distance absolutely night and day difference - clarity, noise, color, details, sharpness - 7-10 times better sound quality - "ok" surround setup or "ok" headphones with dac/amp=huge difference - more behind the scenes stuff (sometimes dvd doesn`t even have them because of not enough space on disk) Blu-ray vs streaming (if someone is wondering): - Blu-ray has 2-3 times better image quality including better motion in some cases - 4-5 times better sound quality - behind the scenes materials and trailers in higher quality (like above) on disk - actual ownership - you can watch it whenever you want, how many times you want, sell it, gift it, invest in it
Torrent is the ultimate "solution" for being able to watch whatever you want.
