Not only do they take more from Alberta on a per capita basis, they step on the neck of everything Albertans propose to bring prosperity to the country

The oil and gas industry in Alberta has been severely crushed by the people that take Alberta's taxes

Albertans believe in limited government, open markets/free trade, free speech, private gun ownership, meritocracy and capitalism, literally everything that Canadians hate and stand in opposition to, it’s not financial it’s cultural!

I’m from Alberta Canada and will be voting to seperate. Canada is in decline and heading off the cliff and we want out of the car !

I am a Saskatchewan resident. The movement in our province is quiet but very significant. I’ve had enough of the Laurentian elites and their QC first agenda. Time for the rip off to end.

Thanks for bringing attention to this…living here is so frustrating and dark. Picture California or New York state getting to decide everything for the rest of the country. That is how it feels living in Western Canada. Our values in the West are so vastly different than Eastern elites in Ottawa who have been governing for 11 years. Right now the federal government seem more interested in selling country out to China than in helping Canadians .

Proud Albertan here. It is absolutely crystal clear that our place within canada will NEVER change unless we leave, and a new pipeline won't change that fact. 100 pipelines won't change that fact. Pierre and the federal conservatives won't change that fact. No, Alberta independence is our only choice for REAL change, self-determination, and a brighter future
