I ship out in January, there’s no reason our army should lower standards for ideological reasons it’s impractical
It’s not even about shaming those who are heavier, but for the sake of DEFENSE standards are completely valid. If you wanna serve, make sure you can do your job to the fullest
The military is meant to protect America. Screw everything else. You can't meet minimum requirements you should not be in our military. Im happy this IS what I voted for.
Whats shocking is that we had to have this conversation/reminder in the first place.
Why should the military be about social engineering? Why? It should be about one thing. War defense fighting. Any other goal like social engineering social justice detracts from the mission. Any general who thinks the purpose of the US army Navy Air Force or Marines is to promote social justice should get out of the military and move to San Francisco.
That’s so true Ben during the Afghan war George Bush put out a rules of engagement saying that if the enemy is carrying gun shoot them, then Obama put out a rule of engagement that said you have to prove they’re shooting at you. under Trump It went back and then under Biden you weren’t allowed to shoot.
The ppl not understanding need to be fit, tough, strong is why those should not be giving advice to the military
The main objection I have to Hegseth as of late is his support for the soldiers that participated in the “battle” of Wounded Knee keeping their Medals Of Honor. It was not a battle, it was a massacre of up to 300 unarmed civilians on a Native American reservation. Those soldiers do not deserve praise and it is not “woke” or “DEI” to recognize our past errors. Do not become so “anti woke” that you become as historically illiterate and dogmatic as those you claim to fight.
