Working 5 days a week 8 hours is so obsolete.

New ER doctors work 18 hrs a day, who can remain errorless working that long?

The fact that productivity has doubled but real wages have only increased by 20% without a change to the workweek… Needless to say we’ve been robbed blind—not only of our wages, but, even more importantly, of our time, which means our life, at least a significant part of it, the experiences we could have and share with people we love, ventures that we could start with that time and increased wages. It’s time this system that serves the few is taken to serve the many.

The 30 hour workweek would transform the social contracts, strengthening communities and families, and feeding capital directly into local economies.

We could easily reduce the workweek by half and 95% of the people would be much happier for it and see a huge increase in living standards
