Louis hits a hundred home runs here - such a treasure.
Louis CK is honestly a philosopher who does comedy
Perfect. For 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 12 seconds my feeling of existential dread will be kept at bay.
"I kind of came up with this new idea in my life recently, which is that your feelings are like fire and you warm yourself by them. You sit by the fire of the feeling, you don't get in it and let it burn you, but you also don't go away because it's hot." What a powerful concept.
“I didn’t break this (mirror), and I’m so tired of cutting my fingers trying to put it together so I can look at myself”
Louis went deep here, I admire that. He seems genuinely grateful to have arrived at a place of peace. Role model indeed. Thanks Theo for making this happen.
I've always liked Louis CK. But this interview showed vulnerability and humility, and it's extremely refreshing. Thanks guys for an amazing convo
"this sounds crazy, but it reminded me of a REAL book" 😂
Both of these guys were on the verge of tears multiple times in this video as they say kind things, truthful things and reflect on everything. The actual honesty is rare. This was beautiful the longer it went on. Thanks Theo/Team & Louis.
This was singularly one of the best interviews I've seen in a long time. Louis is so human in this interview and Theo does a great job letting him be himself, as usual.
