2:05:10 "A society that puts equality—in the sense of equality of outcome—ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of people who use it to promote their own interests." This is exactly what happened in Argentina.

Jennifer Burns is brilliant. Fantastic interview Lex.
I hold my degrees in economics, disagree significantly with what is taught in Economics in the universities now and also self taught/pursued the learnings of Austrian economics - Ludwig Von Mises. This was a great episode for me!
This is ridiculously thorough compared to every other video ever done on this topic.
Very impressive. I love how she really knows her areas of expertise and forms clear arguments around them. Lex, you gave her the right amount of space to let her shine.
Listening to Jennifer it struck me that the core of it was how freedom is central to being human. it is so hard to ask people to give that up for “peace” which perhaps was reflected in the difficulties of the last interview..
It's amazing to listen to this as an undergraduate economics student
Jennifer Burns, wow, what a pleasure to listen to! Brilliant 😊
