Returning alongside Julie is Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr., She’s All That, Scooby-Doo), who suspects the contest is a setup. New faces include Karla’s boyfriend Tyrell (Mekhi Phifer, 8 Mile, Dawn of the Dead), the creepy resort manager Mr. Brooks (Jeffrey Combs, Re-Animator), the oddball porter Estes (John Hawkes, Winter’s Bone, Deadwood), and Jack Black (School of Rock, Jumanji) in a stoner cameo that’s become a cult favorite. Muse Watson (NCIS, Prison Break) returns as the menacing Ben Willis, seeking revenge for his past. This sequel features several highly searched and infamous scenes, including the stormy resort massacre, the tanning bed suspense sequence, and Julie’s iconic "I will survive!" scream.
