Is NASA's Moon Mission an April Fool's Joke?

On April 1st 2026 NASA plans to send 4 astronauts on the first manned Moon mission in ~55 years, exploring deeper into space than ever before. This timing of this comes exactly when the Earth-facing side of the Sun is covered with numerous active sunspots, and a sungrazer comet which could provoke them, is flying in for its perihelion on April 4th. With minimal shielding, if the Orion spacecraft is hit by heavy particle flux from a CME or other space weather event, the results could be bad... The entire Artemis II Moon Mission is expected to last ten days, and with the increased risks currently inherent in the space environment, NASA may be making a big mistake, or perhaps it's all an April Fool's Joke.
