Mearsheimer referenced the 'Cuban missile crisis' blaming Russia for placing missilles in Cuba with no mention of US missiles in Turkey which forced Russia to respond with missiles in Cuba!

Russo-phobia is a characteristic of our rotten leadership, not of ordinary American citizens. I've worked with lots of Russians in the IT world, and they're smart, friendly, capable, good people. We're sadly squandering every opportunity for mutually respectful and beneficial political, cultural and material cooperation with the great nation of Russia. There's absolutely no reason we in the U.S. shouldn't be friends with Russia; it's been that way in the past, and it should be that way now and in the future.

Poor Diana. You can see how much it tortures her when Pavel explains the likelihood of Zelensky burning down the country against Ukraine's interest.

Pavel's astute observation how the conflict in Ukraine has been the least destructive of civilian life for more than a century is significant. That certainly does not diminish the suffering or magnitude of any loss of life, Great debate. Diana put together a great panel. Thanks to Diana , John, Glenn and Pavel. 🇦🇺

Something I miss in the hundreds if not thousands of discussions like this, is how opinions and voices of the ordinary citizens of Europe have been steamrolled over by the not democratically elected warmongers in Brussels. We the people seems to be the only ones who sees the dangers in the wreckless behavior of our so called leaders. Look at how fast and by media unnoticed the Swedish membership in nato was conducted. No one asked the people. It just happened. Many are furious, but can do nothing. See what happens in Germany and the uk. People who openly protest risks being thrown in jail. Europe is on its way to a disaster, and the so called leaders are sheering on. I’m seriously worried about the road chosen by the ruling class. This madness has to stop.
